Virtual Consultations for Plastic Surgery
For patients who live more than two hours away, Dr. Restifo is able to conduct personal and informative consultations by phone and/or by using technology like Skype. Patients usually send photos of the area of their body that they would like to be treated. Dr. Restifo reviews the file(s) and then converses with the patient via phone or Skype to recommend a treatment plan. Medical histories and other documentation can also be exchanged in preparation for your formal pre-surgery consultation with Dr. Restifo in Orange, CT.
Prior to Plastic Surgery
Patients should plan to arrive in Orange several days prior to surgery in order to formally consult with Dr. Restifo and undergo necessary testing and examinations. Dr. Restifo will also review the surgical plan at this time and will ensure all questions are addressed. After Surgery
Our team will ensure that after surgery, the patient is escorted to a comfortable recovery space. Within several days after surgery, Dr. Restifo will remove the surgical dressings and sutures and clear the patient to return home.
In the event that a patient needs to be seen in their own area, Dr. Restifo will work with a board-certified plastic surgeon in their area to coordinate care.
